Kate is awesome… I can call her last minute and desperately need a box and she always helps me out! Kate has an excellent team working for her that are always friendly and helpful. We needed a reliable company to depend on and The Custom Box Company has exceeded all our expectations. We needed a great product that was also cost effective. We needed to find someone that could be efficient in having the boxes ready because our clients depend on receiving their product on time. We needed the best quality product available to protect our artwork from damage during the shipping and handling process. When looking for a company, we had certain criteria that we had to have met.

JL Studios Art has been ordering custom boxes from Kate for years and we wouldn’t change a thing! We use boxes to ship our artwork all over the United States, therefore we spent a lot of time searching for a box company that would work well for us. To assist you, we have provided pictures of many of the custom cartons that we make in the Gallery of Custom Box Styles. We recommend adding a ½” to each dimension after packing materials-measure the item after you have packed it in bubble wrap or any other protective packing materials, then add ½” to length, width, and depth (or height). If you will not be using packing materials, be sure to leave enough room for the item to fit comfortably in the box without damage to the box or the item. Don’t forget to leave room for any packing materials (styrofoam casing, packing peanuts, bubble wrap, etc.). You will need to measure the length, width, and depth of the item you are trying to box. As you look into the opening of your cardboard box, the longest side is the length, the shortest side is the width, and the measurement from the top of the carton to the floor of the box is the depth. In the world of custom box manufacturing, we state the dimensions in terms of length, width, and depth (or height).
